Our dedicated staff team would be the first to say that we can’t do what we do without the aid of volunteers who bring helping hands, energy, and encouragement to our camp and conferences.
As a year-round, non-profit ministry, there are constant ways for people to get involved. Know how to fold t-shirts? Capable of mopping a dining hall floor? Willing to run a game of archery tag? Have a lifeguard certification? No matter your skill, there’s something you can do to help!
It is because of volunteers like you that Berea has been able to share the gospel in New England and beyond for the past 75 years, and it because of volunteers like YOU that the ministry will continue for generations.

Summer
We love summer camp, and if you do too, come join us! Pour into campers as a Cabin Leader, serve as an on-site nurse, wash dishes, clean bathrooms, or help run activities and games. There are so many ways to be a part of the life change that is happening here!
Kitchen
It’s a never-ending task to prepare food for 200+ campers, clean up, and repeat the process three times a day! The Kitchen can always use extra hands washing dishes, maintaining the food line, or preparing food whenever campers or guests are on site.
Facilities
Handle all the behind-the-scenes maintenance and housekeeping tasks that ensure our environment is safe and welcoming to all who step foot on site. Take care of maintenance needs, building projects, landscaping, and cleaning. You can volunteer to care for our facilities with or without guests on site. You can also help out for one of our organized camp cleanup days!
Program
Whenever campers or guests are on site, we host a wide variety of activities. You could run the tubing hill at Camp Berea, be a lifeguard at Camp Kerith, help lead a game at Camp Monadnock, and generally be a part of creating the fun that draws people to camp!

It is our goal to create and continuously develop programs which appeal to children, teens, adults, and families such that they respond to the message of Jesus Christ and the life changing principles of God’s Word within the context of meaningful relationships and memorable experiences.

What Can You Expect?
At camp, you’ll work harder than ever before and see God work like never before. A role in ministry requires a heart for God, service, and teamwork. Life at camp changes with each week and season. It’s the perfect place for anyone who is flexible and seeking to grow.
Depending on your role, a typical day at Berea Ministries can look like feeding 400 people 3 meals a day, leading an epic game of dodgeball backed by a lightshow and booming sound system, cleaning cabins to create a welcoming space for incoming guests, discipling campers as they prepare to become disciplers back at home, or answering phones and filing paperwork to ensure all groups have a smooth retreat.
